How much does a DishUp! recipe cost?

Each box costs £10 for four portions making each portion £2.50.

What information do I need to provide?

The name and addresses of the organisations receiving the boxes, two mobile numbers for delivery, and special access instructions.

Do your vehicles have particular access requirements?

Most of our deliveries take place on standard 4 pallet long wheel base vans and have no access requirements, but on occasion we deliver on larger vehicles and we will let you know about this on a case by case basis.

What’s the process of co-creating a DishUp! Recipe with you?

We would be delighted to work on new recipes with you. Set up a call with us at hello@dishuprecipes.com so we can chat about timelines.

How many weeks before delivery do you need an order?

We prefer to receive orders with at least 2 weeks’ notice, but we can sometimes accept orders with a shorter turnaround time.

Is delivery included?

Delivery is included in either batches of 200 boxes, or 600-1000 boxes to up to 10 locations in the same area.

How do the boxes arrive?

Boxes arrive on pallets in a van. Each pallet holds 150-250 boxes.

What is your delivery window?

8am – 5pm Monday to Friday. We can deliver over weekends too if needed.

Can we specify a narrower delivery window?

You can specify a 5-hour window and we will try our best to deliver in that period.

How big is the DishUp! box?

10cm x 20cm x 30cm.

What does a DishUp! box weigh?

Each box weighs between 1.5 – 2.5kg. We keep weight in mind as the boxes are often carried home by our participants.

How will I be reminded about delivery?

You will get email reminders before delivery.

What is the maximum and minimum numbers of boxes I can order to one location?

There is no maximum number of boxes we can deliver, but we ask for a minimum of 150 boxes if we are sending a pallet, or 600-800 spread between 10 locations in the same area.

What’s the shelf life of a DishUp! Box?

Each DishUp! Box has a shelf life of at least 5 days.

What age range are DishUp! boxes targeted towards?

DishUp! Boxes are targeted towards both primary and secondary school aged children.

What are your payment terms?

We only take payment once you have received your delivery and are happy with it. We request payment 14 days from invoicing.

Why are the boxes all vegetarian/vegan?

Environmentally, keeping the boxes predominantly made from plants helps us lessen our environmental impact, as well as enabling us to avoid the troubles of transporting meat around.

How should we store a DishUp! box?

DishUp! boxes all have at least a shelf life of 5 days from delivery if kept in a cool, dark place.
